Banff Apartments

With very little quality housing available for working residents of Banff, it was determined that the maximum permitted number of suites should be achieved on this site. Banff setbacks and regulations determined the overall building size, and as such, it was discovered 14 units could be achieved all approximately 1000 SF in size spread over 2 floors. Additionally, the client requested that a suite be designed for his young family on the top floor, built into the roof of the building. Working carefully with the Banff planning department, a sensitive design was achieved accommodating all the planning requirements such as parking, landscape, height and aesthetic requirements.
